The family Van Zanten farm is very close to the IJsselmeerdijk. With clear weather you have a perfect view of the numerous sails of the ships sailing along the IJsselmeer coast line. The passing of majestic three- or four-masted ships is a truly impressive sight.
Since 1966,Anne and Annet are the proud owners of this dairy farm. They keep forty cows and a fair number of sheep. Their son Auke is preparing to follow in his father’s footsteps and continue the business. The farm is surrounded by 20 ha of land, which is at times partly used for tulip growing. This offers a breathtaking and colourful view, especially in springtime.
Things to explore
Near to the farm is Andijk, a typical West-Frisian village with ribbon development. Be sure to visit the local Reformed Church, as well as the Poldermusem, situated directly on the Omringdijk. The embankment itself offers a new cycling and walking path to the city of Enkhuizen. This scenic and cozy town holds two museums worth your visit: the Zuiderzeemuseum and the outdoor Buitenmuseum.

Checking in and out:
Your cabin is available to you from 2.30 pm. Please make sure to check out at 11 am at the latest. With a later departure, you will be charged an extra day's stay.
Wheelchair friendly:
Restinn cabins are wheelchair accessible thanks to their wide entrance and the absence of thresholds. Please note that the shower and toilet area do not have the same wide entrance!
Pets:
To protect the livestock from any diseases that might be transferred from animal to animal, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the premises.
Activities and visits
The Andijk area is simply perfect for lovely walks or cycling tours. In your Restinn cabin, you will find all the information you need on the different trails and routes. The links page on our website also offers different websites on this subject. Have fun!
Provided there's time, the Van Zanten family will gladly show you around their farm. Other activities offered outside the premises:

The good life doesn't end after a lovely night's sleep: your hostess Annet will serve you an excellent breakfast in the comfort of your own cabin.
Dining-inn?
No need to get out in the evening, looking for a place to dine. Your hostess will happily take care of this meal as well and, again, serve it in your own cabin. This "Dining-inn" service is available every evening, between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm. Please order your dinner directly with your booking or the same morning before 11 am. You can choose any of the carefully selected meat- fish- vegetarian dishes on the menu.
Your Restinn cabin is well-stocked with fine wines and other (non-) alcoholic beverages to accompany your meal. Contact your host(ess) for any additional requests!
Drinks and snacks
In addition to the wide range of drinks, your Restinn offers you a broad variety of fruit, snacks and candy. Your Restinn also accommodates a coffeemaker, a water heater and complementary coffee pads and teabags.

Ask your hostess for a packed lunch and be on your way! You can order your packed lunch a day in advance. Your hostess will deliver the packed lunch with your breakfast.
